Affinity Celebrations

Sujitha and Avinash, a down to earth couple from Tennessee, hired us to design a simple and elegant wedding. With more than 600 guests anticipated to attend, we knew we had a big job to perform. Since it was going to be a large wedding, the couple booked the SLPS Conference Center in Irving, TX, giving us a lot to work with.

We asked the input from the bride about what she had in mind for the wedding. She wanted us to create a simple and sophisticated mandap. From there, everything just fell into place and we knew how exactly we were going to design the couple’s dream wedding. First, we decided the theme colors, red, gold, and ivory.

We designed a stunning floral background, featuring white and red draping with a floral garlands adorning it and enhancing with a colorful bouquet as tiebacks. To create our floral elements, we emphasized on using green, yellow, and red. To design our floral vision, we went with beautiful peonies, roses, and lots of greenery.

We decorated the stage with rose petals and added a red floral stage skirting . We went the extra mile to make our bride feel extra special by customizing the aisle entry. We placed gold colored Candlebra’s on each side of the aisle , decorated with rose petals, for the bride to make her grand entry.

However, the highlight of the event was our Ganesh entry. On a round table covered with a rose floral covering and placed behind red background,We added yellow and red candles and red and yellow flowers. We surrounded the Ganesh with red and yellow draping. The bride later told us that people were lining up to take a picture in front of the Ganesh, and we were delighted to hear that. We wish the couple all the best!
